Scared the bleep out of me as a kid
I think it was the animal testing, Nicodemus...
the scene where the rats are sinking into the mud really sticks out.
I remember being shocked as a kid by the scene where Mrs. Brisky cuts her arm escaping the bird cage. Rewatching the film as an adult, I was surprised how relatively benign it seems now; I think it struck me in particular because I'd never really seen an animated character with a cut like that before, especially one that was just a normal accident and wasn't inflicted by a villain in some fight.
