Do not underestimate this film

I can only hope you Be considerate and open minded.

But by all means, this is one of the rarest films to of seriously Impacted my Childhood and carried me as an Adult. When I was small It left the same Impression as It has now. I see nothing more than the out most respect and praise for Mrs Frisbee. So gorgeous and Independent, full of power despite her size, didn't will on self pity as most people tend to do. She has lost her husband, she's out on her own protecting two sons and a daughter. One of the sons is deathly Ill the other, In my opinion and memory, had suffered from separation, anger issues and usually took them out on the nanny. Despite everything going so wrong for her, without suffering a nervous breakdown once, Frisbee was always shown on screen to just *beep* and do what she has to do.

That alone had forever changed my perspective on parenthood, not out of Idolization but also a dream of mine is to aspire and have that amount of strength and determination the day I too, raise a family. It's hard work, being a parent.

I've seriously learned so much life lessons from all the characters but,
Perhaps this is an extension, but alas it is my feelings of this film. Masterpiece

Agreed. I don't understand how anyone can hate on this film, as it is probably one of the most well-written kids movies ever made. And the great (hand-drawn) animation, voice acting, and amazing soundtrack make it an extremely enjoyable watch. It's also probably the most violent G-rated movies out there.

If ya ask me, nobody messes with this movie and gets away with it.

So the world is in peril, what else is new?

Two sons and two daughters - Timmy, Martin, Cynthia and Teresa.

Otherwise, agreed - Mrs Brisby is a wonderful character. The whole film through, she puts herself into danger, into situations that positively terrify her, to protect others - as tiny and timid as she is, she is completely heroic, utterly selfless.

Not even just to protect her kids - when trapped in the birdcage, she overhears the conversation about NIMH coming in the morning, and immediately sets about escaping to warn the rats.

She's one of the most endearing, heroic, admirable characters I've ever seen on film.

Oh, yes, if a pig comes by Castle Dracula on a Tuesday, playing a banjo…

I'm not a child, saw it for the first time a few weeks back. Great movie now one of my favorites.

Nice post maya. Mrs. B was a badass and never stopped fighting for her offspring. She is a character to be idolized.

And if anyone told me this is a "bad movie", then that's the last critique I ever need to hear from them.
