The 'Webster' connection

I just finished watching PORKY'S for the first time in many, many years and I was surprised to see not only Susan Clark, but also her husband and future WEBSTER co-star Alex Karras show up in small roles. It seriously had me on the lookout for Emmanuel Lewis.

Anyway, hard to believe they would go on to star in one of the most banal and saccharine sitcoms of the 80s just a few short years later.

Just saw the movie on Fox Movie Channel... also hadn't seen it since I was a teen in the '80s. Barely recognized Susan Clark, but as soon as I did I was shocked. Then I realized it was Alex Karras and put it all together. Webster's parents playing a hooker and a dirty cop. Blows my mind that they are both in Porky's. She looked pretty good, though.

I didn't see this until after that show aired. It was just a coincidence.
