shareI love all three, but am divided on which sequel I like better. 2 at least brings back a lot of the original cast, while 3 not only brings back Porky, but drops the racism theme and becomes a more straight forward sex comedy.

I've only seen the first film. Are the second 2 actually worth watching? Because, I've had people tell me the sequels to other popular films were good and they were wrong. For example, Return of the Living Dead is an excellent film. I was told that the 2nd and 3rd were OK. This is not true. Only the first one is worth watching. The rest are complete trash. I'm hopping that's not the case here.
shareDepends on what you want from the sequels. It's nice to see the same characters in new gags, but the basic plot is the same. Them taking revenge on the villain.
I rather enjoyed RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD PART 2 actually, but it's certainly inferior to the original.

Disagree...this movie is funny only if you are a 12 year old boy (or apparently have the mentality of one - i.e. ooo they show boobies!) I did not laugh once and the characters are not likeable in the least. The movie tries too hard to be funny. Just shows a lack of intelligence of the target audience.
Interesting how Paula Deen just got fired for saying the N word but they can use it freely in this movie and gee, it must be ok. Everyone who laughs at this movie but thinks Deen is a racist is a complete hypocrite. Also interesting how the N word is now horrifying but fat jokes like the one in this film are still acceptable today. Just sad...
The people you idolize wouldn't like you.
Racism was a huge thing in the 1950's. If I recall correctly Bob Clark mentioned a deleted scene in which a cop uses the N word, but since the studio felt he is one of the "good guys" he shouldn't say it, even though Bob claimed that's how things were. "Good" people did some bad things.
Your complaint about the race issue is for a film not only 31 years old, but also takes place 59 years in the past.

Sorry for being judgmental, but anyone who uses the term boobies is so obviously out of sync with modern culture that it already invalidates any point you might be trying to make. Your judgement of this movie is about as relevant as a person who showed up in a time machine from the 12th century just by your language and the phrasing you use.

I remember seeing this as a young teenager, and for the first time in 20 years I decided to see it again , I bought it at Goodwill for a dollar. so I had nothing to lose.. enjoyed the film immensely , I loved everything about this movie,,
are you going to bark all day little doggie,, or are you going to bite
The first two movies have some of the funniest scenes in 80's comedy. Even if the second movie is uneven as a whole. At one time, the third one was actually my favorite. Nowadays, it's usually my least favorite, but I still like it.
shareThis movie is not only not funny, it's the opposite of funny.
In fact, it's so unfunny it's uncomfortable to even watch. The acting, the humor, etc... Totally, totally awful.

I thought it was slow in parts and some of thew acting was horrible, but the good scenes were very very good
