Great Movie...

...that was poorly advertised.

Let's admit it. That poster isn't very good. Makes the movie look stupid as opposed to the brilliant comedy classic it truly is.

Definitely one of the best comedies of the past 50 years. Great character-driven screenplay with heart and relatable characters.

Outstanding. Brilliant filmmaking. IMO.

The poster isn't much different from Animal House.

I partly agree with you. The talent really brought this thing to life. I wouldn't call it a 'brilliant comedy classic.' It had some funny moments, but not enough to laugh out loud at. Keaton as the comedic sidekick relief was a great performance that was on the mark. Right from the start with the beautiful "Night Shift" song, perfect cinematography, and noir ambience, I knew that I already liked this movie. The one downside is the script. If the writing had been sharper, more skillful, I know that this would be considered a Classic.

And I just saw it for the first time an hour ago.

Disagree. The writing was top-notch.
