this film has similarities to halloween 1 and 2 and I think it is a rippoff. the scene where anthropohagus is attacking the girl and the priest saves her, is similiar to the scene in halloween where michael myers is strangling laurie and doctor loomis comes to save her. the part of the film where the girl with the broken legs escapes her straps and has to lob around the house is similiar to the plot of halloween 2.

Your argument about "Halloween II", however, holds no merit at all as this film was released the exact same month as "Halloween II" (and on a separate continent no less!).

While it's true that Halloween II and this film came out at about the same time, Absurd was definitely patterned after american slasher films and specifically the original Halloween. It was a conscious decision on the part of D'Amato and Eastman. So it's no surprise there are similarities.
