has anyone else noticed that when Fitz signs the contract for the land he signs right handed, but then when he draws the map of the two rivers he uses his left? (i tried submitting this as a goof). kinski was, i think, right handed?
shareActually, I have been a little confused/curious about this. In Fitzcarraldo, Fitz does sign the contract right-handed, and then draws the sketch left-handed. In 'his name was king' and 'crawlspace' there are scenes of kinski writing right-handed (also in a couple of other movies). But in 'marquis de sade:justine' there is a scene of him writing left-handed. Also, in Aguirre he uses his sword left-handed. In Cobra Verde he uses a machete left-handed. In almost everything I've seen where he handles a gun (at least a dozen movies from all across his career), he uses the gun left-handed (except once in The Great Silence, where he uses a pistol right-handed).
