Commentary is engrossing.

I dare suggest that the commentary of Herzog is perhaps as entertaining and stimulating as this great movie itself. Stories of 17-year-old policemen with automatic rifles, the world's deadliest snake, piranha being not that dangerous (though a cameraman lost a toe), the rubber barons, the natives, etc...absolutely the best movie for a director's commentary that I've ever seen.

I've listened to quite a few of Werner Herzog's commentaries. They are always enlightening and entertaining. Guillermo del Toro is another director who gives very good commentaries.

Herzog, del Toro and other directors who give great commentary show that good story telling skills and good filmmaking go hand in hand.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
