I'm watching that big steamboat move up the mountain with Caruso singing from the turntable, and I'm amazed.
There has to be some madness in such entrepeneurs.
For what end? I have no idea. Maybe it's really the journey, not the destination, after all.

Supposedly a visionary can see into the future in some ways.

I disagree. I think there is an end; it is his love of art (opera). This is in contrast to the rubber barons who are undertaking huge endeavors merely for money.
