Best Soundtrack Song?
Mine would definitely Sleeping Angel. Very dramatic and some of Stevie Nick's best vocals. It's sad it was only in the background.

My son heard the intro to Moving in Stereo and started looking around for a cop car. He then smiled when he realized it was from the song.
I, of course, was smiling for a different reason. 😎
But I'd chose Somebody's Baby over that song.
Somebody's Baby will always be my favorite. I also like "Leave it Up To You" by Poco. I love this soundtrack.
shareGreat Poco song. Ravyns' track "Raised on Radio" is awesome. "So in Love" is great. Fantastic Henley and Walsh. It's loaded with Eagles solo songs.
shareAnd I LOVE the Eagles. Maybe that's why I love this soundtrack too!
shareWell, that's not really surprising, since co-producer Irving Azoff was also a former music manager, whom, at the time, had previously managed the Eagles as a collective unit, and was now managing the now broken up band members' solo careers.
shareAmy Heckerling had great taste in music. Lots of great music in this film, but the obvious best has to be Moving in Stereo and its Phoebe Cates montage.
shareWe Got The Beat, at the beginning montage, was excellent. They made sure to play the song until they scream "Rond and round and round...WHOOO!!", getting the best part of a great song in, right before they faded it out. The Go-Gos were a great band from back then, especially that first album!
shareDon Felder's "Never Surrender" and Sammy Hagar's "Fast Times At Ridgemont High"
shareMost of the songs were irritating. Considering what was available in 1981 when the movie was made, they could have done better.
