Question about locales

I am trying to plan a vacation to Mallorca to visit the sites where the movie was filmed because like many here I can recite the dialogue verbatim. Also- if any of you liked the score you can buy it- the arrangements lifted right from the film- including a piece of jettisoned underscoring that should have continued when Arlena caught Poirot "swimming."

Anyway- I have researched a lot here and on other sites about the locales and have practically found all the exterior locales.

BUT, does anyone know if the interior of the hotel was just sets in London? Like the check in desk? the steps that Christina came down? the lounge where they all sat for the end (with a mermaid bust in it)? Even the two hotels Raixa and Formentor where some exteriors were shot, inside pix of the two hotels don't match the film.

I would much appreciative if anyone can give me insight on this.

I think all the interior shots are in a studio. They don't look really very realistic - for example the main lounge/bar area looks as if it has no windows at all and the walls do look a bit "stagey" rather than real substantial walls. Plus you never see a view directly out or into the hotel. so I think they are all fake unfortunately.

Hi! Do you know where the "flashbacks" were filmed? I was the dead body on the moor in the Yorkshire Dales! It was along a private road so possibly not easy to reach without permission. The police station was the village hall in Muker, in Swaledale.
It was a very surreal moment when I went to see the film in a Yorkshire cinema! Everyone seemed to react to the picture of the strangled body, and I thought how weird that nobody knew that the body in question was there in the cinema with them, sitting behind them, maybe!!!!
