'The kiss' should've/would've have happened at the train depot.
When Michael Cain goes to pick up Christopher Reeve at the train depot they still pretend to be teacher & student even though no one else is around. This makes no sense. If they were truly a couple then Reeve would've hopped into Cain's car and they'd have kissed right then and there since they were alone together. Instead we see Reeve run up to Cain's car window and say, "Hi Mister Bruhl!" as if they're platonic acquaintances. Makes no sense.
