Inspiration?

I always thought that the story of this play was in part inspired
by the plight of Anthony Shaffer who never quite equaled writing Sleuth (expecially among those who are not fans of the Wicker Man)Thats why its hilarious that Michael Caine is playing Sidney (even funnier now that Caine has played both halves of Sleauth)

When I was in college we did a production of Deathtrap that I propped....and i had an artist friend design all the posters for Sidneys plays that hang in the study. When she did the poster of the Murder Game I told her I wanted it to be starring Michael Caine and Laurance Olivier...our little in joke...



It is not our abilities that make us who we are...it is our choices
