When I saw deathtrap on the WB,, regular TV..
after myra's funeral, Sidney is talking to Helga and telling her to goto another country and learn a new language, and write a play in that language..
then come back to him.....
(that was his way of getting rid of her...)
was there a scene of her on the Merv Griffin show,
messing up on her psychic ability,,,
it was mentioned by Clifford, but never shown.....
just wondering...

I doubt it would have been scripted, much less filmed, because it would have taken the action of the play too far from the one-set five-hander play that the film was coyly self-parodying. And it wasn't in any way necessary -- it wasn't relevant to the plot that Helga's TV interview apparently didn't go so well.

I came on here to find out the same thing! The reason I think so is because in the DVD, on the page that lists the chapters there are about five photos and one of them seems like it would be Helga and Sidney at the funeral, because she isn't wearing that hat she is wearing in every scene. Thanks for that!
