And it was as horrible as I remembered it to be. Terrible from beginning to the end.
I love this movie. I think it's just as good as the first one. My only complaint is that I think it should've ended after the murders and Sonny's arrest. The exorcism parts seemed to bog down the film too much and didn't fit with the rest of the movie. After the family was killed, it all felt like a completely different movie from there. But other than that, I love it.

the family getting killed kinda ruined it from me. it was very interesting up until that point.
afterwards, it turned into a rehash of the Exorcist. And by that point, Sonny wasn't really likable, so whether he was saved by thee priest or whatnot, it didn't seem to matter.
I really liked the character played by Burt, had he and the family had more involvement in the conquering of the spirits and in saving Sonny, it would have been a better movie. But killing them off, pretty much did in the film.
