I was a bit surprised that ALL the actors that provided the demon voices were female!
I thought one sounded female in some ways (the one that told Sonny that the family was better off dead), but I thought some were male.
One was even spoken by Alice Playten R.I.P.
She was Blix in "Legend"!

That blew my mind, as THAT certainly did not sound like a woman!
Mercedes McCambridge didn't even (at first) get professional credit for her voice!
That was despicable, why would they do that? The film wouldn't have been much of anything without her voice.
Good for her for suing for her deserved credit.

I don't think the director and the studio deliberately kept Mercedes McCambridge from getting professional credit. I could be mistaken, but I thought Mercedes herself didn't want to take the credit because I think she felt it would have taken away from the overall performance from Linda Blair.
