Shouldn't this movie be the original? I mean the Amityville story is about a guy who killed his family because he heard some voices. In my opinion this should have been part one and Amityville horror should have been part two

Read the book High Hopes The Amnityville Murders and The Night Defos Died. Both good books about the actual murders.
shareAgreed, I always found the DeFeo story with a young man who killed his family and claimed to be possessed more interesting than the Lutz family that just moved into a house and got scared by stuff. I'll never understand why George Lutz's tale was more publicized and well known when much stranger things happened to the DeFeos (renamed Montelli in the movie).

exactly, so if we look at part two, its perfect for being part one because of what happend in the first place. Lutz famuly should have been part two and this one part one.
