CAMBRIDGE CIRCUS Street Signs.

Followers of the Smiley stories may be interested to learn of an opportunity to buy a genuine CAMBRIDGE CIRCUS street sign presently being offered by Westminster Council on ebay. There is a reserve of £100.($162) The description goes as follows:-

"Buy yourself a bit of Theatreland history with this iconic Westminster street sign. The enamelled steel sign features Westminster’s traditional black and red capital lettering, which was created by acclaimed designer Sir Misha Black in 1967, and includes a black band at the top with an inset picture of two traditional Pierrot-type clowns."

The "Circus" was the nominal headquarters from which Britain's counter-intelligence operatives worked - but I don't need to tell you that, as I feel I am amongst experts.........
