shareI believe that the letter that Claus Kretzschmar is a photocopy, made by the General at the Free Baltic Library the day it arrived. The General made the copy and sent it along to Otto Leipzig, who left it with Kretzschmar, along with the rest of the blackmail material.
The letter that the General had with him was the original from Ostrakova, and was taken off his body by the men who killed him.
