He was such a great actor..he was the PERFECT choice to play Edward Stratton II.

He was so serious yet hilarious!!!!!

Yes he was. He had excellent comic timing (and this is the guy who told Robin Williams to quit Julliard and strike out on his own). I just finished watching the episode where Ricky drives the car into the driveway and I just laughed at how Grandfather Stratton tried to cover up the accident.

Yes, he had a long history of credits going back to Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater, if you ever see the film Cradle will Rock.
