As Alex continued to mature through his 20s and 30s , he would become a libertarian . They are known for being fiscally conservative , pro small government and also socially open minded .
shareAlex would have moved over to the Democrats--and been fiscally conservative moderate.
They never had a family ties episode where he was protesting abortion clinics or demanding the defunding of planned parenthood.
He had a picture of Richard Nixon who supported Affirmative Action, Title IX. the EPA and public funding of birth control
Was Nixon perfect, hardly--but when you look at what GOP of today wants.
