Who is your favorite character that is dead :(

Who is your favorite character, the actor who plays the character must be dead.

Example: Mrs.Berg, Mr.Shorofsky or Leroy.

If there is another actor that is dead and was a character on fame you can use them to for your favorite dead character on fame.

I loved Leroy, Mr Shorofsky was cool too.

I'd say Mr Shorofosky. I've always liked this wise old Mister.

He died in 2003, I had exactly the same reaction as yours when I got to know it.
Just to add another person who is dead, but was not part of the original cast: Carrie Hamilton, who portrayed Reggie Higgins in the last season.

Leroy is my favorite. to this day, I still can't believe he's gone. I watch the episodes on dvd and I feel kind of down when I see him on screen

Gene Anthony Ray was in the theatrical version of "Fame" too. And I'm in shock that he is no longer with us. Gifted talent.

PS-TCM will show the theatrical version of "Fame" every chance it does. And its worth seeing in the original letterbox format the way it was shown in the theaters.

I was shocked to find out too. I was in Switzerland in late 2002 and he was doing a show there. I should have gone when I had the chance. So sad.

Anyway, I was always a Mrs. Berg fan. She was so sweet and funny.

I always liked Albert Hague..Mr. Shorofsky, because of his dry wit and off the cuff remarks..he kept it real. And when the series went into syndication and they beef'd up Mrs. Berg, the two of them together were the best!
Just watching them on the season 1 dvd makes me miss the show more and I WISH they'd release the other season's soon!

I liked all the characters. However, I think it might be Michael Thoma because he died when the show was still on the air. His last show is where his character was written off because there was cut backs at the school was a tearjerker. I remember that cast singing the song Dreammaker to him and knowing that he was dying in real life made it very poignent.
