Does anyone have the soundtracks on cd. Or if you have them on lp could you put them on a cd-r for me I'll pay you for them.

I have all the vinyl Albums but put them on CD and now have them all on my iPod, if we can find a way to get them to you we could try. Maybe if I put them onto iTunes. Let me know.

I would also be willing to pay for this music. I had them all on vinyl, and unfortunately, all my vinyl was lost to flooding. Can't seem to find them anywhere on the 'net. Here's to Fame!

I have got 4 Kids from Fame albums on cd :
The kids from Fame (1982) on original cd (UK 1995 edition)
The kids from Fame Again (1982), a copy from my vinyl edition
The kids from Fame Live (1983), a copy from my vinyl edition
The best of Fame (1984), on original cd (1984 edition from RCA)

I can make you copies of those CDs, I know it is very hard to find them !!!

I have a question. When I look up "Starmaker" on youtube, there seem to be two vocal recordings.

One starts with Debbie Allen

Maybe the second one starts with Debbie Allen too but it clearly sounds different in the beginning. Maybe it's Valerie? Do you know how many offical versions of this song were recorded?

In the original recording on the soundtrack, Erica Gimble (Coco) starts the song, but she is not in the episode where the cast are singing it, probably why they recorded it with Debbie Allen!!

You can buy Ultimate Fame, which features MOST of the original songs from the original Kids from Fame (but not from the later albums). It also features some songs from the original film and, unfortunately, songs from the dreadful musical.
