Question about U.N. Week

I got the first two seasons of Fame on dvd for Christmas, and had a question about the season 2 finale episode. There is a joke about Mrs. Berg misunderstanding what incomunicado (if that's how it's spelled) was. Can someone explain this joke to me, I didn't understand it. This show was before my time, but there weren't any references I didn't understand until this episode. Does anyone know what they were talking about?

I just watched this episode last night-- the joke is Mrs Berg thinks that communicado is a place that someone can be in, such as a country where the term incommunicado means that the person cannot be communicated with (ie has no phone or access to communication.

Fame is one of my very favorite shows. I hope they also realease seasons 4-6

LOL, yeah I thought that was funny! She later made a similar mistake with the term "incognito"! It's amazing to watch this show as an adult instead of a kid. There's so much I missed first time around!
