Anyone else agree?

The 2009 remake of the movie was a bust. And Glee is one of the biggest disappointments I've ever come across. It's just not the show it promised to be in season 1.

I think if we reboot Fame and make it more like the original movie--with its mature, but still very real themes, and as long as they get some great writers and actors, and doesn't turn into something as obnoxious as Glee is, I think it'll be a huge success.

i think we just need Fame booted--seasons 3,4,5,6 on DVD that is! Unfortunately, with the movie bombing, I don't think they will put the money into that let alone an actual new series.

I think what the OP outlined would be a huge hit, but I doubt any 'new' version of the show would be done in that way. It would probably be some kind of Hannah Montana angst fest. Blech...
