now that they have remade the movie u would think they would turn around and remake the tv series as alot of this generation never saw the first make of the original tv series plus the remake of fame would really boast the ratings on the remake of the tv series.wouldnt u think?

shareNot on your life. The redux film was a complete dud that had none of the magic that the original film had. It's the same with Footloose. Can you name anyone from that film besides Dennis Quad? Glee wouldn't have made it to tv if it hadn't been for a show like Fame. It paved the way for any future tv shows about high school. Look at HS Musical. That was a bad example of FAME the movie. Sure they changed it around so it didn't look anything like fame and that worked. Disney and other channels will continue making random, silly films about high schools where kids sing and dance but all of us who remember will know where the inspiration came from.

shareA Remake is a bad idea for 1 the already have Glee which is like the new up to date or new millineum version of fame . the remake movie flop and so would the show. These kids in this generation is nothing like us from the 80's so NO and best thing is to just leave the show alone and play re-runs . I have a very close friend of mines who is actually 20 just turn 21 and he was no where near born when all these old classic shows were on . But when he comes to my house to hang out he appreciate all the old shows we had plenty of nightly marathons example mama family, martin , what's happening cosby, good times he love those shows. It's our responsibility to introduce the youngin's to these classics
