Fame is so much better than Glee. The acting, the stunning performances, the themes, the chemistry between the characters - there is a certain magic about this show. Such a shame kids now don't know of it. Such a awesome show in so many ways.

shareIt depends on which seasons you're comparing. The first three seasons of Fame were great, but seasons 4 and 5 were cheesy and painful. Both series have had phenomenal moments and those that should be buried and never spoken of again.

The series actually fluttered between good/bad in Season 3 because all the writers had been replaced as well as the producer. This all happened when the network canceled the series and a sub-network picked it up. The show was never the same when it went to the new network and actors were trying to leave left and right. Carlos tried to leave after Lee did but the producers held him to his contract and so he suffered through. Nia Peeples character was brought in to replace Coco but it was a poor replacement. Nia Peeples is a decent actress but the part written for her was only for flash. So, in the end, I'm thankful that only seasons 1 and 2 are available on dvd. I can watch any of the other seasons on the web.

Glee is just a slicker version of Fame. Its also more smug and annoying!
Its that man again!!
I always felt Glee was just a more glossy version of both Fame and Kids Incorporated.
