Cagney and Lacey was the swellest!!!! I don't watch much TV, but this show and Roseanne were two shows that I used to watch on a regular basis. Chris and Mary Beth had a bond that was even very similar to the one Roseanne and her sister Jackie had. I also loved how the subsequent movies aged the characters naturally and had them gain weight and wrinkles, and Mary Beth slowly gets gray hair. Not many shows do that; too many shows try to keep the female characters looking unnaturally young. Way to go, Chris and Mary Beth!!!!
