Hysterical!!! The best Horror Spoof error made! Be warned, this movie specifically targets Jason, Michael Myers, and Jamie Lee Curtis' Birthday! Classic lines. So many hysterical quotes. The guy doing the voice of The Breather should have gotten an Emmy for Comedy. ("I'd like to kill the kid with the gum!" LOL) Oh my God, since seeing this movie for the first time on TV, I have never stopped laughing. It's everything a B-movie/horror spoof should be: 10/10 on laughs and 1/10 on production quality and plot! The first time you watch it, you notice the plot drift off about 1/2 the way through the movie. But on subsequent viewings, you really don't care, because it's just so damn funny (kinda like Office Space). It's the kind of movie that makes me wish I were rich, so I could buy the rights, re-edit a couple scenes to avoid jump-cuts, put it in widescreen, add DVD extras, then sell it for $19.99. I still own it on LaserDisc and am awaiting the DVD. Unfortunately, this movie BADLY needs to be released widescreen, because the the LaserDisc version is badly panned and unless it's just the 70's bell-bottoms getting the better of me, it seems many scenes (like at the end) are even "squeezed" to fit into frame, making the people appear tall and skinny like an old Kung Fu movie on free cable. I know it will come out on DVD (if crap like Piranha 2 can come out on DVD, this movie can), but I'm so tired of waiting. It's literally one of the last LaserDiscs I still own ("Fletch Lives" finally got crossed off, it was about time!). HEY, WHOMEVER OUT THERE OWNS THE RIGHTS: DO YOU KNOW I SAW A DVD VERSION ON EBAY RECORDED FROM LASERDISC SELLING FOR $20.00 PLUS SHIPPING, AND IT HAD MULTIPLE BIDS! LET'S WRITE THE EXECS, PEOPLE...TELL THEM THERE IS A MARKET FOR THIS MOVIE!!!
