dvd release of the movie

I want to start a petition to get this movie out on dvd without the bad bootlegs! what studio put this out?

Paramount owns it. I have a vhs copy from years ago.

if you go to the Amazon DVD link and sign up to be notified when it's released, "supposedly" the studios pay attention to that--if enough people are interested, it could be a go. I figure it can't hurt. I sure as heck signed up!

I'm shocked it wasn't released on DVD yet. It's too good of a movie. I signed up on Amazon and will sign any other petition to get this released.

I saw that the bootleg version is available, but I'm with all of you - I want a good, legal copy of this one.

I transfered my VHS copy to DVD, and the quality's really good, but I agree with you guys, an official DVD release would be awesome: nice crystal clear picture quality, remastered audio track, widescreen presentation, theatrical trailer...I'd pick that up in a second! I still can't understand why this movie is so under-rated...

I saw a DVD of this movie for sale on eBay. The picture looked like a real DVD case. I e-mailed the seller asking if it was a VHS to DVD transfer and never received a reply. IMDB.com shows a link to puchase a DVD of this movie from Amazon, but it's not released, yet. You can add your name to a list of people who want to be informed if it is released on DVD.

Bless all of you, this was the best film ever as kid! Im going to sign up too at Amazon, that will make 10 of us!!! at that rate it should be ready for 2325!!!!

The film comes out on DVD June 3, 2008!! Amazon.com has it in stock..no stores that I have been to have it in stock! The film company that is putting the film out is Legend Films ...you check out there website for more info!!!
