anydbody notice the many references to Dr. Pepper in this movie?

Did Dr Pepper put funding up for this movie? just asking because it seemed to be in Student Bodies a lot. Its in the begining with the first girl who gets killed, a guy is wearing im a pepper shirt in the parade, the snack vendors are wearing dr pepper uniforms, and I also spotted a lady again wearing im a pepper shirt.

REwatched this and noticed the Dr. Pepper product placements. They are also listed in the end credits.

Since the movie was filmed at Pearland HS in Texas, its probably not far from Dr. Pepper HQ, which I think is in Waco. Dr. Pepper is probably a big influence in the area, providing lots of jobs and sponsorships. Just a guess, though.
