As far as I know it was never released on DVD so anything on Ebay are VHS transfers.....

If you have a laserdisc player you might find it on ebay too. For some stupid reason, Paramount has no current plans to release an official copy. What a bunch of stupid morons.
shareI have seen a LaserDisc version and a Select-a-Vision version on Ebay. I have emailed Paramount to release this on DVD. Someone told me they purchased the DVD at a trade show. I purchased a 2 disc VCD version on Ebay. It was obviously a transfer from VHS, but the quality is good enough. I converted the mpg files to vob and burned them to a DVD. The DVD I created plays perfectly. Every once in a while it is on TV. Last time it was, I recorded it to vhs and it was in widescreen.

All the Student Bodies DVD's on Ebay are just VHS/ Laserdisc rips...Paramount should so have already put this on DVD and had it out by now, i would love to know what the heck the hold up is on this title.

thats how i save my money instead of buying these rare and hard to find vhs tapes for $30. now sure it is fun to have the tapes so i always look for them but hey, get it for free when its the same as whats on ebay
I'll send it to you, if you want it... It's an old VHS rip on DVD. It's not illegal because the movie doesn't have a distributer yet. It gets illegal when DVDs and restorations get released.

That's actually not true, despite what gray market video sites claim. The film would have to have NEVER been released, and this one certainly was.
