second part of this film is kinda sucky

Agree. As with many comedies, the Hollywood requirement that their be a plot with a conclusion eventually required that the movie get away from what's really funny and have something happen. Same thing happened with Animal House and, to a lesser extent, with Caddyshack.

Totally agree. The first part, before the graduation I would give 7/10 (maybe 7.5 because of all those beautiful girls), the second part just 4/10. Really ruined the movie.

This movie is really two movies. The graduation separates them. Honestly I feel the first half is at 10/10. Great humor, memorable scenes and great characters. Afterwards it's not as funny and frankly, believable. I mean come on lol, that group of people isn't going to carry out a successful rescue mission

yeah, after the graduation, it just got stupid. i turned the channel and watched an old "i love lucy" episode instead of the ending.

You're right, I'm watching this now after not having seen it in a few years and I remembered it ending at the graduation.

I agree the post-graduation scenes were a huge disappointment compared to the rest of the movie, I give the first hour of Stripes a 10/10 and the final 40-45 minutes of the movie a 5/10.
