Now, if anyone has the initiative to add these numbers, it's easily seen that the 1s~6s = 1674, which are almost offset by the the 7s' (1413, so we''ll grab + 170 from the 8s). This leaves 7269 votes that are 8s~10s. So, just how the hell does this = "Arithmetic mean = 7.7 Median = 8"!!???

That this film (with 12 A.A. nom's!) lost to "Chariots of Fire" was/is a frigging joke or political fracas of some kind. A magnificent romantic epic with across-the-board impeccable technique and precision. Highly recommended!!
