Would you watch part 5 if he did not have his iconic outfit in it?
If he was not wearing hat, whip and leather jacket would you still see it? He pretty much has to wear it to sell movie tickets

shareAny good story respect its roots, its traditions, not for the sake of tradition, but acknowledging what makes the story good in the first place.

Not if he looked like his outfit just came back from the dry cleaners like he did in Crystal Skull.
shareWould it be like Kevin Smith’s Superman script where he wasn’t allowed to write Superman wearing his suit?
shareYou, sir, are a blasphemere.!!!!
shareIndy may, once, be without his gun... but never without his whip!
shareI doubt I'll watch Part 5 at all. I am one of the minority who liked the 4th film but you know with Harrison Ford being so old now that it would just end up being like the newest Star Wars movies where new characters are introduced to take over his mantle.
shareI'll be seeing this no matter what. But I thought it was ridiculous he was wearing the suit in the last movie. It's okay for Indy to become an old fat bastard running around in business casual clothes. They F'd up big time with Shia. Indy needed a son to take on the mantle, do the heavy lifting of the action in the outfit and the whole 9 yards. And the last film should mirror Last Crusade, him now the grumpy old fart dealing with his headstrong son. And obviously, setting up the kid to have his own new spin off adventures.
