Ragtime(1981) is a classic period epic with an all star cast including the last
theatrical motion picture appearances of the Great James Cagney(coming out of a twenty year retirement to appear in this film) and the
Great Pat O'Brien. This is an amazing film to see with an excellent score by Randy Newman as well.I own a copy of this film and am glad that I do.

It's absolutely worth buying, it's a great film and Dourif is fantastic in it.

Dear Lookingforgoodfilm,
This writer seconds your views on this excellent film and Brad Dourif's
performance. What did you think of the Great James Cagney's performance in this film?I felt it was not his best work, but the man was 81 with diabetes
and could no longer walk. However,I feel that if this is Cagney at his worst then he was still better than most actors who didn't have to overcome his problems.
I think what the makers of this film achieved was sheer movie magic.

BRAD
