just got back. it was so much fun. great cheezy 80's horror. loved pinky tuskedero, the punk bands, the screwed up son.
and the crowd was cool. theater sang along with a film clip of auld lang syne before the film. very funny.

in LA we have a bunch of theaters that show old films... but this one was at the new beverly. they specialize in showing old flicks, classics, cult. do double features every night. and midnight shows on saturday. i think tarantino and stallone have helped it stay around. and they get lots of actors and writers and directors to show up when screening one their films. frank durabont showed for elm street 3, director of chopping mall showed. that was fun. they talk before the film. seth green and diablo cody programmed the place for a few weeks. peter bogdonavich is programming it next month.

hopefully this means we may see a dvd realease soon...
