It might be safe to say if anything in this movie or the ridiculous book of lies it was based on were true. The Joan Crawford character presented in the movie is a cartoon character who bears little resemblance to the real woman. Her other children, and her grandchildren, all said she was a good mother and grandmother. Christina Crawford had a perfect combination of mental illness and greed, which resulted in a sensationally dishonest book and this silly movie.
