What about Farrah Fawcett?!?

She's not listed in the cast or credits here, but I am absolutely positive that Farrah Fawcett was the plastic surgeon's assistant. I can remember her sitting on the floor during the scene where the lasers are going nuts and cutting the doctor up. Anyone else remember this??

reply

Yes, I remember the scene you describe very well! However, it was not in this film. What you are thinking of is from Logan's Run (1976) and it wasn't a conventional plastic surgeon but a similar concept called "New You".

reply

You're thinking about Logan;s Run. She played Holly, Doc's assistant.

reply

Wrong movie...your looking for Logan's Run

reply

Just to be clear, the OP is looking for Logan's Run, correct?

reply

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet....but I think the film you're looking for is "Logan's Run".

reply

I think the name of the movie was Run, Logan, run.

reply

That's the one about a wolf-bear with metal bones isn't it?

reply

I think the name of the movie was Run, Logan, run.
Are you joking around, or do you really think the movie was called "Run Logan, Run?" It was just "Logan's Run."

And ...say what about a bear with metal bones?!!?

No, the original US release title was "Run, Logan, Run!"

Oooh! I *loved* that movie's theme song. . .

Daddy, please don't!
It wasn't his fault!
He means SO much to me.
Daddy, please don't,
We're gonna get married.
Just you wait and see!

Clever bringing David Geddes into the mix. Whatever happened to him anyway?

reply

She was the bear in the movie Running Man. That is what he must be thinking of.

reply

LOL! Great word play (for the uneducated among us, he means "Run Lola, run") ;-)

reply

Farrah Fawcett was in that movie starring Michael York about a future in which everyone was killed when they got to be 30 or 31. I can't remember the name of it.

reply

You're thinking "Somebody Killed Her Husband" ... I mean "Logan's Run"!

reply

The film you're thinking of is not what everyone here seems to think. It's actually a movie directed back in 1976 by Michael Anderson, starring Michael York and Jenny Agutter. It depicts a dystopian future society in which population and the consumption of resources are managed and maintained in equilibrium by the simple expediency of killing everyone who reaches the age of thirty, preventing overpopulation.

The movie was called "Logan's.........

Maybe "See Ryan Wander"?

reply

I'm pretty sure it's from Battle Toads.

reply

No, that scene was not in this movie. The scene was in a sci fi movie from '76. Can't quite remember the title, it was something like 'Bert's Jog'.

You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!

reply

No, it was about computers and I think it was called "Log In: Run".

No silly, that was another film about gay WWII POWs, called "Hogan's Hun".

reply

reply
