A long time ago when I was a kid I watched this movie with
guys dressed up as knights riding bikes. I remember near the end
of the movie there's even a chase on bikes through a building.
Bikes going down stairs etc. It had a 70's feel to it, might have even
been 60's and I think it was a British movie. I was hoping when I got
hold of knightriders it would be the movie I saw as a kid but it's a completely
different movie. Does anyone have an idea which movie I saw? (it was on telly
somewhere early 80's).

Well, it calls to mind a post-apocalyptic movie from the '60s, "No Blade of Grass": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066154/.

Or there's the little-seen British movie "Trial by Combat" (released in the States as "Choice of Weapons", though "Trial by Combat" is a more accurate title). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074409/

Psychomania? Can't remember much of it, but I know they wore strange outfits(the bikers).

I am thinking Psychomania too. It is about the dead bikers coming back to life, and causing havoc. definitely a psychedelic 60's British movie. A great movie, I just watched it before last month.
