This is a really good Movie, but I hated it when I was younger.

I grew to appreciate it more the older I got. However, I hate how it ends where the Anchor turns into the lamest looking Werewolf of all time. She looked like a puppy dog and not a werewolf. I know this might have been indication that she was a good werewolf but I could have done without that. I would have liked it more if she looked like the rest of the Werewolf Monsters. We already know that the Werewolves could control it to some extent since they were talking about eating cattle and not Humans. Made no sense that every other Werewolf turned into a big Monster and she turns into a puppy dog.

I've been a big fan of this film since I first saw it back in the mid-80's (on a rented VHS...damn, but I am old), and to this day I can't figure out the thinking that went into this creative decision. Best guess is the special effects budget ran out just as they reached the end.

Her transformation up until that last shot was just as hair-raising as the previous human-to-werewolf scenes. Result? She looked like something you'd see in the Toy Group at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
