Possibly the funniest acting of the Slasher era?

Ok I haven't seen every 80's slasher yet but I do think Patch Mackenzie's performance in this must be near the top of a most hilarious acting list. The scene when she is running away after realising who the killer is, putting the back of her hand to her brow, just cracks me up. Love the dramatics of her fightback sequences just after that as well. It always make me come back to this movie time and time again as whilst it does have some scares, there is something about acting that is almost so bad, it's good.

It's like the producers & director couldn't make up their mind if this was going to be a serious slasher or a campy joke slasher. They ended up walking the balance beam between the two and it's a weird vibe, but I got used to it and enjoyed the movie for what it is -- a schlocky early 80's high school slasher.

This is one you can watch with your friends and laugh at. It's a highly incompetent film.
