Final Scene Special Effects
Does anyone know how the special effects were created in the last scene in this movie, where Jesus appears in the sky? Also, does anyone know who acted in the role of Jesus in the last scene when Damien dies?
shareAccording to Graham Baker on the DVD Commentary (Which he spoke very little about the film!) he says the effect was achieved by hanging a lamp out of frame, giving it a simple beam above the frame with an added optical effect of Jesus. He doesn't say who played Jesus who performed the visual effect.
