Adam Driver as Snake?

I'm kinda surprised nobody else has suggested this, according to my quick Google search. (Inb4 someone says because it's a terrible idea.)
His ex-marine background means he could pull of Snakes former military badass aspect, and he can rock the hair and the stubble. Likewise, I imagine Snake as some agile, stealthy character rather than a musclebound superhero type.
Aa a big EFNY/LA fan, I can live without another movie, even the comics from a few years back ran out of steam pretty quickly. (However, the BTILC/EFNY crossover limited series was a blast, recommended.) But if the proposed spinoff is finally happening, I can't see Kurt Russell doing it without JC, therefore I'd prefer they went the Fury Road route and get a decent actor to put their own spin on the character, just like Tom Hardy did his own version of Max, I'd rather we got someone to do their own version of Snake, instead of trying to mimic Russell. (For the same reason, I don't want to see his son, Wyatt in the role doing a Kurt impression, I'd prefer to see him create his own unique characters, USAgent, etc.)
Anyhow, looking forward to Driver's new movie, 65, hopefully that'll confirm my idea that he'd make a good Snake. Thoughts?
