According to the second movie, Escape from L.A., the nation's capitol was moved from Washington to Linchburg,Virgina. So, what happened to all the federal buildings, the Mall, the museums and monuments? I like to think perhaps it was turned into an amusement park, sort of like what Disney's America was supposed be but now abandoned. A perfect setting for the same kind of acidic political and social commentary featured in the other films only more so.
I would love to see America as a whole since it has obviously become the headquarters of the New World Order.
shareI'd rather they keep the action centered in New York. The idea that prison cities are all over the place makes the whole concept less interesting.
