Do or did they give the prisoners their own means

to grow food and drink water, or possibly through air drops? I thought he crazies and some others might be cannibals. The voice at the Liberty Island facility says something like "You have the option to be quickly terminated and cremated on sight." That's one reason it makes me think the prisoners had no way of getting food. Unless it was all the old stuff left before Manhattan was turned into a prison.

I could only imagine not bathing and the water to toilets being cut off.

The film doesn't say, so nobody knows. Any answer you get would just be speculation.

There were food drops. The helicopter pilot says "They're signaling us from the food drop area" right before the police land and recover the President's briefcase.

When they're briefing Snake, it's mentioned that some of the prisoners had set up greenhouses.

I also feel it was implied that the crazies were cannibals, since the girl tells Snake they are fanning out into the streets because "they're out of food" right before bust up through the floor to snatch her.

Yes during the first briefing with Snake they mention the greenhouses.....then at the conclusion we see the food drop in Central Park. I look closely everytime and have even froze the frame to see if those are crops in the back drop....some of the prisoners seem to have agricultural tools but that doesnt mean much. Eitherway the Duke has a stranglehold on all resources.....my question was did the crazies find their way to the theater and destroy all inside?
