When the "entity" appears as a green gas in Carla's bedroom and the team of para-psychiatrists see it happening, it looks a lot like Slimer from Ghostbusters. Apparently, he likes the food in New York City, but likes the ladies in Culver City even more.
And we all know what happens when a guy climaxes, so... he slimed her.

Yes, the green ghost does have more than a passing resemblance to Slimer. That thought had actually crossed my mind in the recent past. However, that thing still scared the BEEP out of me back in the day.

I know this was made in 1982, but couldn't they have used even a LITTLE better special effects?!
At least for the final scene in Carla's house. It was a demon that attacked her, not a ghost, so would showing a dark shadow have been so hard?
