Electrical arcs and 'phaser blasts' broke the spell
There have been countless ghost sightings around the world but none, to my knowledge, have ever involved a Pink Floyd-type sound-and-light show.
That stuff was just silly.
The music and that killed the realism of the film for me. Pretty lame.
