'7 Doors of Death' version DVD?

Has the '7 Doors of Death' version ever been released to DVD? That's "7", not "Seven". I mean the US censored version of the film, with the alternate soundtrack and the "Louis Fuller" directorial credit.

The so-called "Diamond" release is just a grey-market DVD conversion of the original 'Beyond' laserdisc, with a new title card inserted that reads "Seven Doors of Death". But it's not truly "7 Doors of Death", the one with the alternate music. I love that music. I want that on DVD!

I'm looking for a commercial DVD release of the R-rated version as originally put out on VHS by Thriller Video in the mid-80's.

The version you're looking for was done as a fanedit by "Retro Horror Remix" a few months back. He used the new "The Beyond" DVD to restore everything back to the original U.S. theatrical version with the exception of the opening and end credits which were transferred and cropped to fit the correct aspect ratio. He used his original VHS as the blueprint and also as the source of the new soundtrack. I really enjoyed this version. The music alone is strange enough to keep your interest (even with all the edits). The DVD-R is available on one or two torrent sites. Unfortunately, an official release is probably never going to happen now that it's slipped into public domain. Hope this helps...
