I am a huge horror fan and chose to watch this film based on the ratings on this site. Boy did I get tooled, this movie is just hands down terrible. It's not even matinee worthy. Bad script, bad acting, poorly shot, poorly dubbed, not scary once or even a little creepy. I find it unimaginable anyone can score this turkey so highly. I get the Dario Agento cult following, I get the fascination with Grindhouse gore-fest but this movie just fails on every level.

You know that's what I thought when I heard her say it but someone else watching the movie told me no, it was "Nickey". Dickey would at least make it somewhat amusing...

Yes, Lucio Fulci directed; not Argento. Anyways, I don't think this film was an artistic masterpiece but it wasn't bad either. I thought it was stylish and pretty to look at and the music was also wonderful. I don't know if people were expecting an Oscar winning production but Lucio is famous for gorefests rather than sophisticated art films.

Lucio Fulci not Argento. To get here you had to first go to the main page for the Beyond. A mistake like this is quite absurd. And based off one film how could you understand a cult following? Need to see a few more before you get it
